Caught' Ya Corrections and GiVeWaY Reminders....

Dear Reader,
First of all, be sure you have entered my March Madness GIVEAWAY.  The drawing is tomorrow (Monday, March 7 after 3:00 EST).  Go here and comment to win one of these sassy chicks!

Now, for those of you who read my previous post, I had given you a 6th-grade grammar lesson of sorts and said I would give you the corrections in my next post...and I said I thought there were 13 corrections.  This is the uncorrected version:

horribly hard middle school did not look much different from there elementary school which was nearby in their town of tedious alabama.  a big one-story brick building set nestled among large trees and a verdant lawn and a small city of white portables dotted the field behind the school like white lily pads in a green pond

And this is the corrected version:

Horribly Hard Middle School did not look much different from their elementary school which was nearby in their town of Tedious, Alabama.  A big, one-story brick building sat nestled among large trees and a verdant lawn, and a small city of white portables dotted the field behind the school like white lily pads in a green pond.

The corrections are in red, and there are thirteen.

*Note* Did you find the simile?  Hint:  A simile compares 2 unlike objects using the words like or as.

Have a lovely day!

P.S.  Remember the GiVeWaY!
